During a press conference today, Artsakh ombudsman Artak Beglaryan spoke about the actions of a subversive group that infiltrated Hadrut on 10 October.

As reported by the Human Rights Defender’s Office, yesterday in Hadrut, Azerbaijani saboteurs killed two residents at home, the mother and the son – a disabled person.

“After the ceasefire agreement, an Azeri subversive group penetrated Hadrut, according to some sources, also with the participation of mercenary terrorists. The population was intimidated, some houses were set on fire, and some civilians were killed.

As of yesterday, we had information about two people, a disabled boy and his mother, who were shot dead. We also received information a while ago, I will publish the names so that no one has any doubts, Misha and Anahit Avetisyan (I will clarify the last name). In addition, we have information about two additional civilians, Nver Grigoryan and Artyom Mirzoyan, both of whom were also killed by mercenary terrorists.

The first two, the son and the mother, were killed in their home, which means that they simply broke into the house and shot them. We have published photos of a person with a disability being shot in several places, from the chest to the abdomen, and his hand, the palm, being shot, which suggests that he raised the palm of his hand, showed that he was unarmed and so he defended himself. Azerbaijani terrorists hit him in the hand. This further shows that it was a terrorist act, a grave war crime,” Beglaryan said.
