The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that the personal accounts and pages of some Armenian users on the social network www.facebook.com are being hacked by the enemy these days; they used to create contradictions, divide the society, sow ideological differences among the Armenian society, panic attacks by spreading various messages on those pages.

In particular, on the hacked pages of the mentioned social network “Armenian Style”, “Yerevan-Armenia”, “Armenian Realty” and other hacked pages, obviously false information about the military operations is published, materials that create negative emotions in the public, photos, as well as a false statement about a meeting planned for 8 October.

In addition, there are cases of conducting sociological surveys by calling from numbers similar to Armenian phone numbers generated by special software methods, in order to know the actual situation of the Armenian side as much as possible, just as panic messages are sent in the same way.

The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia urges not to give in to the provocations of the enemy, not to answer false phone calls for sociological inquiries, not to base the false information received in the above-mentioned version and to refrain from spreading the latter, to be vigilant and follow only official information sources.
