He mentioned that there was nothing to worry about going to the front line․ “Why did I go to the front line? If there is nothing to worry about, we must first inspire our officers, soldiers, who in fact fight to the death every day against the enemy. I want to mention with glory that the army completely fulfills the task set before it, from the general to the ordinary soldier. In fact, we have the most professional army in the world. Not the strongest army armed with weapons, but the most professional.”

Arayik Harutyunyan also thanked the servicemen․ “I want to bow before our soldiers, I want to say, I will take your pain, you are the pride of our nation. Being on the front line, risking your life every second, you fight for every centimeter. Our officer staff performs miracles, endangering life, ignoring death. And we need it, if we overcome that complex, we are all ready to die, we will win,” Arayik Harutyunyan said.

The President of Artsakh stated that he had awarded the high title of “Hero of Artsakh” to 5 servicemen.

“David Lyova Grigoryan: Actively participating in the Fizuli sector since 27 September, 2020, he managed to hit 15 tanks and 1 BMP. He continues to serve our homeland, being on the front line.

Edgar E. Markosyan: He hit 10 tanks in the direction of Talish, keeping the part entrusted to him.

Yura Haykaram Alaverdyan: In the Karakhambeli-Fizuli section, 9 tanks and 1 unit of vehicle were hit. They are all soldiers.

Colonel Shakaryan is one of the pioneers of the Artsakh struggle for survival. He organized numerous tank and infanmtry attacks of the enemy, causing quite large losses. Mr. Shakaryan, the whole nation respects you, your heroism will be appreciated by the whole nation, and you are a real hero of Artsakh.

David Vanik Ghazaryan: Unfortunately, posthumously, he fought the battle with the principle of “no step back”, which in fact was heroic. I offer my condolences to all of us, but I am proud that we have many compatriots like David Vanik Ghazaryan,” the Artsakh President said.
