Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan writes on his Facebook page:

“From now on, no green area in Yerevan will be conceded, will not serve another purpose; on the contrary, many areas, which are marked on the map as green, but in fact have long ceased to be green due to lack of irrigation, we will restore.

I made a working tour in several green areas of Yerevan, got acquainted with the existing problems and the works aimed at their solution. “The newly established” Landscaping and Environmental Protection” CNPO is doing a tremendous job.”
