Victims of alcohol poisoning receive treatment in various medical organizations in the country.
The Ministry of Health reported.
From 31 August to 3 September, at 12:00, 38 cases of alcohol poisoning were registered in the republic, 25 of which were from Armavir region, 12 from Yerevan, and 1 from Kotayk region. Unfortunately, there were 14 deaths.
As a result of the epidemiological examination, it was found out that the possible source of poisoning of the victims of Armavir region was the use of non-factory-produced vodka obtained from one place.
Most of the victims of the accident used medical alcohol as a substitute for vodka, while epidemiological studies are underway to determine the type of alcohol used by the victim, as in the case of the incident in Kotayk region.
