Hakob Karapetyan, spokesman for the Yerevan Municipality, wrote on his Facebook page that Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan held a working meeting, during which the issue of eliminating the consequences of the collapse of the building at Rainis 1 was discussed.

The dismantling of the damaged part and the fortification of the building are planned, as well as the issue of providing the residents who have suffered with basic housing in the future is being discussed.

Until then, the community will cover the costs of temporary accommodation for the affected residents.
