Wearing a Mask in Some Cases will not be mandatory for Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, the President, the Catholicos and a Number of other Officials: New Decision of the Commandant

Iravaban.net reports that Commandant Tigran Avinyan signed a new decision today, on 28 August, according to which wearing a mask will no longer be mandatory for the President, the Catholicos of All Armenians, the Prime Minister, the President of the National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court during the protocol events for those who have a speech and a message, and for the direct participants of the event, except for spectators, guests, journalists and service staff, who must wear masks.

Notably, it was mentioned that working meetings, discussions and meetings should be organized distantly or outdoors as far as possible. Only due to the lack of such opportunities or the need to conduct them online, a maximum of 20 people must participate.

An exception to this order is envisaged. The provision will not apply during the consultations convened by the Prime Minister, the President of the Republic, the Catholicos of All Armenians, the Prime Minister, the President of the National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Court, the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.

This decision has already entered into force.
