Two citizens were hospitalized at Heratsi University Hospital No. 1 following the explosion due to the gas leak at 3 Rainis Street in Yerevan.
Spokeswoman for the Minister of Health Alina Nikoghosyan informs about this.
“One of the victims is a woman, according to preliminary data, she has fractures of the ankle, nose and bones, scratches on the body and face. She is currently being examined and doctors assess the health condition as moderate.
The other victim, a man, has extensive burns on his body and limbs, is in the intensive care unit, connected to an artificial respiration device. According to doctors, his health condition is extremely serious.
“Additional information will be provided after comprehensive research,” she said.
