Levon Zakaryan, a member of the “My Step” faction of the Yerevan Council of the Elders, made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“Since the morning, many people have been sending me links of various media outlets about the possible resignation of Mayor Hayk Marutyan, as well as the possible new candidate.

I officially declare that such an issue was not discussed in the faction and the mayor is just on vacation.

And to all those who have such hopes, I simply advice to dream something else.”
