According to the Lebanese LBC TV channel, the sources of the Beirut Prosecutor’s Office reported the arrest of the director of the City Port.

It should be reminded that on 4 August, a powerful explosion took place in the ammonium nitrate storage.

“Among the 16 people arrested in the first phase of the investigation into the explosion at the port was the director of the Beirut Port, Hassan Koreitem,” the statement said.

It should be reminded that according to the latest information, the number of victims of the explosion has reached 153.
