Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan issued a statement stating: “I am shocked by the deadly explosion in fraternal Lebanon.

A while ago I had a telephone conversation with the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I. I expressed my support to His Holiness Aram, the Armenian community, the fraternal state of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.

We mourn the death of all the victims and offer our condolences to the relatives and friends of all the victims.

We stand by fraternal Lebanon.”
