The specialists of the “Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise ” continue their research work in Chinari and Choratan villages of Tavush region.
Spokeswoman of the RA Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan reported.
On 24 July, as a result of the works, a 122 mm caliber projectile was found in Chinari, and one projectile was found in Choratan. Moreover, the projectile found in Choratan is a weapon containing splinter, which, according to international conventions, is not subject to use against the civilian population.
The unexploded projectiles was taken to a safe place and destroyed.
