Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan issued a statement, which says:

“Today, the Azerbaijani side again shelled the civilian settlements of the Tavush region of Armenia (Aygepar, etc.).

Yesterday, in the same civilian settlements, the independent fact-finding work of the Human Rights Defender’s Office recorded that the shelling was carried out mainly with these bombs. There is all the evidence to suggest that the shelling of peaceful settlements is targeted.

Yesterday, we recorded on the spot that these bombs, falling on the target, immediately explode and turn into many fragments of different sizes, each of which can take human lives or cripple them. I’m not even talking about damaging property, especially houses.

It is an absolutely reprehensible phenomenon not only to shell civilian settlements, but also to do it with these bombs.”
