Tomorrow is the day of the medical worker in our country. The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan wrote.

“Let’s all of us unanimously thank the 40000 medical workers in our country – doctors, nurses, midwives, , all economic and administrative staff. It will give them the strength to continue to fight this new, as well as old, health challenge.

Below I quote the words of Karen Tonoyan, head of the emergency department of “St. Gregory the Illuminator” Medical Center.

“Basically, almost all the patients we ask about where the disease started answered, ‘I caught а cold.’ They are very skeptical, very much so. Even a person with a positive test, confirmed infection comes and declares that it is a lie. They don’t believe until the knife reaches the bone, until life depends on the hair, until they see our suffering, until they see that the person dies from that disease, until they see that the person cries all over the hospital, that he can’t breathe.”  the Minister noted.
