After attending the Commnadant’s Office session remotely, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a briefing. Mher Davidyants, director of the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital in Yerevan, and Vaghinak Minasyan, a senior lieutenant in the 5th Special Battalion of the Yerevan Police Department participate in the briefing as well.
Davidyants noted that if we take the situation lightly and do not follow the anti-epidemic rules, we put the people around us in serious danger.
“Nork” Infectious Diseases Hospital was the first to take the first blow of evil called” coronavirus “. We are fighting against it with the whole staff. We haven’t known what a vacation is for 4 months, we have been cut off from our families and spend the whole day in the hospital. Recently, the disease has changed its course and image. If in the past we had light and medium cases, now heavy and extremely severe cases prevail,” Davidyants says.
The doctor appealed to the citizens. “Help us, the medical staff. During these 4 months we have worked without complaining and we continue to work. I have announced to the whole team that we will fight until the last patient is discharged.”
