Arayik Harutyunyan on the Possibility of resuming Classes in September

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan talks about the possibility of resuming classes in September during the live broadcast of his Facebook page.

He noted that schools can be opened in September if the anti-epidemic conditions are maintained.

“At least elementary school pupils should attend a regular class so that they can study in the distant mode in future if necessary. We need to fight against coronavirus so that these students can be sent to school. Follow the rules of wearing a mask and keeping a social distance. There are about 400,000 pupils in Armenia, and if they follow the rules, they will do a great job. Children and schoolchildren can get the infection very easily, but if they pass the infection on to their elderly relatives, they may not be able to cope with coronavirus disease and die,” the Minister said.
