During the live broadcast on Facebook, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan told about the citizens living in the isolation places of Tsakhkadzor, their residence and control. According to the Minister, at the moment there are 9 places of isolation in Tsakhkadzor, in which 750 citizens live. The citizens of Armenia who arrived in Armenia from Russia today will also spend their 14-day quarantine period here.
In addition to Tsakhkadzor, there are places of isolation in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Tavush, and nearby areas. Everywhere is strict control. Otherwise, there would be a different number of patients in Armenia today.
“We have had about 350 to 400 positive cases from isolation sites. Can you imagine if those people weren’t isolated and how many other people could have been infected without knowing about the disease? I want to assure you that everything is under control in the isolation areas, but it is impossible to face this challenge with the efforts of only one structure. Each of us must be responsible in our place,” the Minister said.
