On April 8, at the initiative of the Armenian side, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsaknayan held a phone conversation with Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs this.

 Foreign Ministers touched upon the steps aimed at preventing the spread of the COVID 19, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, mutual assistance and information exchange.

Foreign Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Lavrov touched upon a number of agenda issues of the Armenian-Russian relations, the cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The sides also discussed the recent developments of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
