On 26-27 March, 2020, the Market Surveillance Body of the Republic of Armenia inspected the requirements of the checklist on the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products of 20 business entities producing hand sanitizing, disinfectant liquids (alkogels) in the Republic of Armenia. As a result, it was found that the sales of 19 companies’ products were accompanied by a conformity assessment document (declaration included) and a corresponding labeling on the product, while one product did not have a conformity assessment document, but the labeling was present. The latter has already applied for and received a conformity assessment document at the request of the Inspectorate.

Checks on the safety of the above products are ongoing.
