Government reports that transit of freight cargo through Georgia’s Sadakhlo checkpoint was temporarily stopped by the Georgian side due to the large number of trucks on the Georgian territory and also due to the quarantine in the Marneuli and Bolnisi regions.
According to the Georgian side, the entrance to Sadakhlo checkpoint will be open for trucks starting today, 23 March at 21:00.
Due to the quarantine regime introduced in the Marneuli region, the trucks will be disinfected near the Marneuli and continue the way with patrol police without a stop (a stop will only be allowed outside the Marneuli region).
