Judge Anna Danibekyan of the Yerevan Court of First Instance cannot hold today’s hearing on March 1 due to ill health.

Members of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan’s attorney’s team will appear in court, the attorney’s team reported.

“Today, the petition to release Kocharyan with personal guarantee was going to be discussed.

Notably, the former RA Prime Ministers Vazgen Manukyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan and Karen Karapetyan, as well as former Artsakh Prime Minister Anushavan Danielyan, had offered to change the detention on the bases of personal guarantee.

The attorney’s team continues to argue that the issue of individual liberty is urgent and pressing, and finds that a personal guarantee motion should be considered as a matter of urgency,” the statement said.
