“Atlantis European Airways” will transport Armenian Citizens from Italy free of charge to Yerevan, after which all Aircraft Crew will be isolated

Natalia Poghosyan, “Atlantis European Airways” Flight Safety and Quality Control Manager, posted on her Facebook page under the name of Natalia Vladi, announcing that an “Atlantis European Airways” airline crew had departed early on 14 March to Moscow, from where to Rome, to return to Yerevan all Armenian citizens in Italy. Natalia Vlad wrote:

“Of course, we are not as famous in our country as Ryanair, which took cheaper travelers at 35 euros in one direction and stopped flights to Italy in light of the events taking place. And so it is our airline and its leadership that make the decision to bring our compatriots free of charge.

A professional approach will be provided to both crew members and passengers during the flight. Passengers will be given masks and gloves to avoid any contact. We are all concerned about this flight, our friends and colleagues, but at the same time we are confident in their professionalism, as we are all former Armavia employees who have served the country for many years.

Remember the evacuation of our citizens from the war zone in Damascus and Beirut in 2012. That was us. Now we, the former Armavia crew and air hosts, have left for Italy. I won’t give the staff names, but you’ll hear about them later. The important thing is that all the passengers we we would bring in the evening of 16 March will be healthy. After the flight, our staff will be isolated,” Natalia Vladi wrote.

She added that after her return she would publish the names of all the people who initiated, organized and implemented the flight, now expressing gratitude to the aircraft’s captain Vardan Sargsyan, second pilot Karen Sargsyan, technical director Ishkhan Adamyan, chief of ambulance service Amalia Avetisyan, air hosts Hayk Ayvazyan and Satenik Harutyunyan, which prepare the flight.
