Ejmiatsin Mayor Diana Gasparyan has issued a statement saying:

“Dear Echmiadzin residents,

There are reports on the Internet that 3 of the coronavirus patients reported yesterday are from Echmiadzin, while only one of them is a resident of Echmiadzin. Please do not spread misinformation.

Patient is isolated: the possible range of people contacting him is revealed.

I am always in touch with RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan and will provide additional information if needed.

Please do not panic, just observe the rules of safety and hygiene.

Notably, according to official data, 4 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia at the moment, 31 people have been isolated. Isolation of new infected citizens is expected.
