Today, I was elected the first Deputy Chairperson of one of the most important PACE committees – the Human Rights and Legal Affairs Committee. MP Edmon Marukyan reported.
“The chairman of the commission has 3 deputies.
I was nominated by the PACE Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) political group. The Committee on Human Rights and Legal Affairs is composed of 91 members representing the national parliaments of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. The commission has 3 sub-committees,” he said.
