We have registered a breakthrough result in the fight against corruption, which is also recorded by the international community. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan informs about this.

The Corruption Perceptions Index 2019 was released by the prestigious Transparency International today. According to the results, Armenia’s score has risen from 35th to 42nd, as a result of which our position has improved by 28 positions and from 105th in 2018 we reached to 77th.

This not only means that we have achieved serious and visible results in overcoming systemic corruption, but also that we have created a more favorable and corruption-free business environment for local businessmen and foreign investors. As a result of intensive work in this direction, we expect that Armenia will be a pioneer in the fight against corruption in the region.
