The Council of Elders of Yerevan is discussing the issue of agreeing to install Arto Chakmachyan’s “Walking Man” sculpture today.
In her speech, Council of Elders Hasmik Khachunts, apologized to Arto Chakmachyan’s family and relatives for prolonging the installation of the sculpture and asked for a minute’s silence to commemorate his memory.
“By placing this sculpture we give the author’s wish because he found it on Northern Avenue,” Hasmik Khachunts said.
