Today, on 25 January, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak region continued to consider the criminal case brought against H. Hakobyan, S, Ayvazyan and M. Martirosyan for theft and robbery charges. The accused, having a preliminary agreement, committed theft against different citizens. In addition, on 18 July 2012 H. Hakobyan and an unknown person committed an armed robbery of J. Hovhannisyan, thieved gold jewelry, causing J. Hovhannisyan the pecuniary damage in amount of 1700000 AMD.
Today the Court inquired the aggrieved persons who were absent during last court session. In response to the question of the Court “whether the aggrieved recognizes the defendants”, the latter answered: “All thieves have the same face”.
The defendants were taken into custody as a measure of restraint. There are 18 aggrieved persons within the instant criminal case.
The aggrieved J. Hovhannisyan was not present at the court session and the Court decided to assure the latter’s presence in the next court hearing.
The next court session will be held on 7 of January, at 12:00a.m.
