Vahagn Hovakimyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly Audit Committee, announces the results of the voting on the appeal to the Constitutional Court to terminate the powers of Judge (Member) Hrayr Tovmasyan.

98 deputies voted “for” and 1 “against”. Two ballots were declared invalid.

The National Assembly raises the issue of termination of the powers of a judge of the Constitutional Court before the Constitutional Court and the law provides the grounds on which such application may be submitted to the National Assembly.

The issue is currently in the jurisdiction of the CC judge (members).
