Based on the 8 May, 2018 Resolution of the National Assembly 2018, electing Nikol Pashinyan to the position of the RA Prime Minister, President Armen Sargsyan signed a decree on appointing Nikol Pashinyan as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The first meeting of the country’s president and newly elected prime minister was held today at the presidential residence.
Congratulating Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the country said: “I want to wish to form the government as soon as possible and to address all the issues that our state, the government, all people and our country – the Republic of Armenia are facing. Best wishes and successes to you.”:
