“On May 8, the Republic of Armenia will have a constitutionally elected prime minister. The Republican Party of Armenia will not nominate a PM candidate. The Republican Party of Armenia RPA) will support the candidate nominated by one-third of the parliament, “Vahram Baghdasaryan, head of the NA RPA faction, has just stated about this.
Notably, the head of the NA “Tsarukyan” Faction Gagik Tsarukyan stated that their faction will support Nikol Pashinyan’s candidacy for the post of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
It should be noted that that 31 of 105 parliamentarians are from the “Tsarukyan” Alliance, 9 from the “Yelk” Alliance, which means that, Pashinyan will have 1/3 votes of the NA deputies.
