“At the time when negotiations between me and Karen Karapetyan were arranged, RPA MPs were calling us and asked to take into account that Karen Karapetyan does not represent them in those negotiations. After that, we proposed that Karen Karapetyan, Ara Babloyan, the NA Speaker and Vahram Baghdasaryan, Head of the Republican Faction participate in the negotiations format. Why did we make this proposal because we wanted to make sure that we negotiate with the ruling party and not with a small part of it,” Pashinyan said.

According to him, today representatives of “RPA” Faction deputies approached him and officially informed they were ready to vote for the people’s candidate prime minister.

“So, we are not going to be involved in “killing etc the clock”. We are ready for negotiations and those talks, as we have previously claimed, should be directed to the peaceful and smooth transition of power,” he added.
