The Republic of Armenia will continue its cooperation with the Russian Federation, CSTO and the member states of the EEU: Serzh Sargsyan, candidate for the RA President, said this in the NA on 17 April.

“We will continue our friendly relations with Iran, because we have interests in these two parts of the world, we have markets, these countries are very important in maintaining stability in the region. Certainly, we will continue our active cooperation with the European Union and we believe that from 1 July we will start implementing the provisions included in the treaty. We will continue friendly relations with the United States and China, because we cannot just cooperate, because our ideology of our common policy is as follows,” Serge Sargsyan said, emphasizing:

always benefited from cooperation, never try to win as a result of the conflicts of others, because it is a futile, short-sighted policy, and in reality, we have seen such examples, which are not profitable for us. Almost one third of the trade turnover today is with Russia and the EEU member states, and one third with the European Union, and one third with other countries and so on. We are also diversified here and we will try to keep that balance,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
