The Press Service of Artsakh Defense Ministry informs that from the night of May 15 and to the morning of 16, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime on Artsakh-Azerbaijani line of contact of conforming armies more than 55 times, during which the enemy fired more than 1200 shots from different caliber weapons towards the Armenian position keepers. In addition, in different sections of the line of contact the enemy applied 60-millimeter mortars (3 shells) and antitank grenade launcher (9 shells). In the eastern direction the enemy used “SPIKE” controlled missile resulting in partial damage of one unit of military equipment.
The Defense Army has not suffered losses as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation.
The vanguard unites of the Defense Army suppressed the activity of the enemy and continue to confidently carry out their military duties.
