Abraham Alaverdyan was accused for beating his mother on 8/ April, 2014 at about 15:00, after her refusal to give him the appropriate credentials for selling her (Rosa Zakaryan’s) flat on auction, causing her light physical injuries, which did not content attitudes of harm.

During the trial Abraham Alaverdyan’s prosecutor filed a motion to appoint a forensic examination, as a result of which he was recognized insane, and was acquitted for the lack of delicti.

Advocate Mary Alaverdyan, Abraham’s mother Rosa Zakaryan’s advocate noted that the accused was justified also because his mother stated at the court that she did not have any claim against him.

David Harutyunyan the judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Avan and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts presided at the trial. The prosecutor had made a motion to appoint a coercive medical measure against the defendant, which was rejected by the judge. The prosecutor refused to make a speech.
