Anahit Bakshyan, member of Yerevan Council of Elders alarms about corruption actions taking place at Yerevan N 27 School. She particularly mentions that Susanna Sargsyan, the ex-headmaster of this school who was accused for defalcations of the school budget about 2 years ago, wants to take part in the competition of the vacant position of the very school headmaster. And the competition, according to her, is organized with violations.
In her announcement A. Bakshyan mentions:
“For about 2 years Yerevan N 27 School is headed by a temporary director, because the ex-headmaster was accused on 26.12.2013 with ESHD-136/01/13 accusation and dismissed by Yerevan Mayor.
With unclear justifications the competition of the vacant position of the very school headmaster was organized with violations after 8 months on 1 August 2014, and the very person, whose accusation was not expired yet took part in it but the council of the school simply should not have taken the documents.
The documents were taken; she participated in the competition, 4 members of the council voted for the accused pedagogue. An appropriate noise burst and the competition was annulled by Yerevan Mayor, and Susanna Sargsyan applied against this in the court.
This trial was baselessly held up for 9 months, declared on 19 May 2015 and put into force on 19 June, and the expiration day of ex-headmaster’s accusation was 26 June. IN my article shared on 4 April 2015 I worried that everything was being done by Yerevan Municipality to hold up the appeal against Yerevan Mayor and for her accusation to expire so as she could be nominated. So this happened.
The next competition of the vacant position of Yerevan N 27 school headmaster will be held on 26 August 2015 and Susanna Sargsyan, the accused ex-headmaster has applied for it. I simply conclude that that Yerevan Mayor did everything for this day to come. I just want to remind Yerevan Mayor the document sent by the prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan to him: “It turns out that the school purchased furniture cost 2.212.000 AMD for its needs (Malaysian kitchen tables, chairs, meat mill, vacuum cleaner, ironing table, armchairs, journal table, “Sony Bravia” TV set, bath furniture). According to S. Sargsyan the furniture was at the warehouses of corresponding shops up to June 2013, but the furniture was actually in the school garage.” Susanna Sargsyan was accused for corruption and the law lets her to continue her activities if elected.
I shall also remind that the Anti-corruption Council headed by the Prime Minister also “fights against” what the ex-headmaster was accused for.
I turn to all the members of administrative council N 27 School to avoid a discredit, because your reputations cost much more than the price to please somebody.”
