During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case on Armen and Arman Sargsyans’ hooliganism there was found out that the employee of the “Orthopedics and Traumatology” Research Center gave 6000$ bribe to an official through his friend for appointing him in higher position but the friend took that amount of money and robbed him by abusing of trust.
Besides, there was found out in the preliminary investigation of that criminal case in the Special Investigative Service of the RA that the same employee of the research center from March till April illegally obtained drugs for his personal use and other people sold it.
It was decided to initiate a new criminal case because the following data are not connected with the case examined by the Special Investigative Service of the RA: the RA Criminal Code 34-312 Article Part 3 Point 1 -attempt to commit a crime-giving a bribe; the RA Criminal Code 178 Article Part 2 Point 2 -swindling in large amounts; the RA Criminal Code 266 Article Part1 – Illegal turnover of narcotic drugs or psychotropic materials with the purpose of sale; the RA Criminal Code 268 Article Part 1- Illegal turnover of narcotic drugs or psychotropic materials without the purpose of sale.
According to the Special Investigative Service, on April 22, 2015 the employee of “Orthopedics and Traumatology” research center reported that on March 21, 2014 in the yard of the center the driver of BMW vehicle and the passenger had conflict with the doctor of the research center; and the driver shot doctor in the face by the gas gun.
Armen and Arman Sargsyan brothers were accused of hooliganism with implementation of a weapon.
