Upon the suspicion of abusing the power the RA Head of Ijevan Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Artur E. has been arrested, as the Special Investigative Service reports.
According to the preliminary investigation, on September 22, 2013 there was an attempt of murder towards K. Gh., the citizen of Achajur village, Tavush Marz. K.Gh. reported that it was not the only case that happened to their family by that man.
Also according to the preliminary investigation, Artur E. knowing that there were a lot of murder attempts by abusing his power did not consider the crime as serious one so the investigation was not done properly.
The preliminary investigation is in the process.
