Olga Hambardzumyan, the citizen of Akunq village of Gegharquniq Marz, while working at “ArdshinInvest Bank” Vardenis branch as a Leading Specialist Centralized Accounting division ex-officio had the authority of cash input, typing documents of the credits and interests repayments, signing and stamping, and has stolen especially large amount of money from the borrowers. The judicial informative system “Datalex” reports.
According to the accusation, she using her authority that the borrowers know her for a long time as a good worker Olga Hambardzumyan in her computer created electronic file which included false form of payment receipt. After that from the February of 2013 till June of the same year she got money from 51 borrowers, who pawned their jewelry for loan repayment, for entering in pay office but did not enter to their accounts. For deception that the payment is done Olga Hambardzumyan typed and gave false checks for the paid amount of money, and in this way she has stolen AMD 7.146.100 from the borrowers by causing them property injury.
The case has been examined at the Court of General Jurisdiction presided by Yurik Iskoyan. There were 51 injured people. The signature of not leaving is appointed as measure of restraint.
The Court of the First Instance decided to sentence Olga Hambardzumyan to an imprisonment of 4 years and 3 months without the confiscation of property, AMD 6.778.624 have been exacted form Olga Hambardzumyan for benefit of “Ardshinbank.”
The case has been appealed at the Court of Appeal; the Defense demanded to find Olga Hambardzumyan innocent provided by Article 178 Part 3 Point 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
The Court of Appeal reject the protest of the Defense.
