The protest action against electricity price hike organized by the civil initiative “No to Plunder” has started in Liberty Square of Yerevan. It must be noted that Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission during its meeting on 17 June, confirmed the increase in electricity rate by 6.93 drams.
“We are here to tell who is to decide. We are the decision makers, and they will cease the decision in the same way they have made it”- stated the participant of the «No to Plunder» civil initiative.
Now another member of the initiative is making a speech. He mentioned that their demands are concrete and are pointed to the RA President and Prime-Minister: “The electricity price will not be up by a cent. It is already high and it must have been revised”.
The square now is overcrowded.
