Lori Marz CES is Illegally selling the Property from the Apartment of the Killed Freedom Fighter: Statement

Bella Abrahamyan, the Compulsory Enforcement Officer of Lori Marz Department of the RA Compulsory Enforcement Service, by her unlawful and unjustified decision, currently has put to direct sales-auction the property from the apartment (address5/48 Nersisyan Street, Vanadzor) of the killed Freedom Fighter Davit Ghazaryan. The sales-auction will take place on 30 April at 11:00 in Lori Marz Department of the RA Compulsory Enforcement Service at 16 Nzhdeh Street, Vanadzor.

The problem is that the victim’s elder brother, Hovhannes Ghazaryan, being unemployed and unable to pay to “Nariri Insurance” 1,800,000 AMD debt (which he does not refuse) to the company. But the property, which currently is under sale does not belong to Hovhannes Ghazaryan, who has lived in Russia for many years, but it belongs to the freedom fighter’s mother, Manyak Ghazaryan. The latter had informed the compulsory service officer about it just on the day when the property was put under the arrest. However, Bella Abrahamyan, the Compulsory Enforcement Officer, threatened that if her son did not sign under the act, she would call a brigade and the property will forcedly be taken for sales. Currently, as a result of this brutal violation of the rights, Manyak Ghazaryan is in serious emotional and anxious expectations.

We the undersigned Human Rights NGOs state that Bella Abrahamyan, by her illegal actions and threatening Ghazaryan Family, has abused her position and exceeded the official authorities (Articles 308 and 309 of the RA Criminal Code), infringed the human rights and all ethical norms.

We apply to Mr. Mihran Poghosyan, Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the RA and demand the immediate suspension of illegal persecution of the freedom fighter’s family and to call to responsibility Bella Abrahamyan, the Compulsory Enforcement Officer for her illegal actions.
