The preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in Abovyan Investigation Division of Kotayk Marz Department of the RA Investigative Committee on the fact of hooliganism committed in the nightclub is in process.
RA Investigative Committee informed Iravaban.net that the proofs obtained from the preliminary investigation found out that, on 23cMarch 2015, at about 22:00, a 23-year-old man, violated the public order in the nightclub in Abovyan. The latter started quarreling with the employees of the night club. It was revealed that the person who was under the influence of alcohol lost the balance and fell down. One of the employees of the nightclub tried to help him, but the latter started quarreling. The person committing the apparent crime went on quarreling with the employees. The latter used swear words and applied violence against the security staff causing them trivial health damage.
Based on the combination of the obtained evidences, the man was accused according to Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
