Several circumstances and the identity of people who seemingly committed a crime were found out as a result of investigative and forensic initiatives in the frames of the criminal case brought for the murder of 44 year old K. Mneyan in the Regional Investigatory Administration of Gegharkunik marz of the RA Special Investigation Service.
On 5April, at 21:40 o’clock there was information from “Hospital of Sevan” SCJSC that the ambulance went to watch house of the cement delivery point near the 59th kilometer of Yerevan-Sevan road and discovered the body of K. Mneyan born in 1971. The corpse was transferred to the morgue of the hospital. The outer inspection of the corpse discovered traces of violence. A criminal case started for the murder of K. Mneyan in the Regional Investigatory Administration of Gegharkunik marz according to part 1 of article 104 of the RA Criminal Code. The prejudicial inquiry found out that on the day of the incident, on 5April, 2015, K. Mneyan participated in an oblation ceremony in one of the restaurants of Sevan. After the ceremony had ended in order to go home with some other people he got on the car of H. Tadevosyan, which was driven by A. Aleksanyan. A quarrel started in the car, and it quickly turned into a fight. As a result, A. Aleksanyan who was driving the car, changed the direction of the car and went to the territory of the cement delivery point near the restaurant complex, where Mneyan was brought out of the car and beaten by two people. K. Mneyan immediately died from the injuries. On the basis of the proofs the investigative organ made decisions to accuse A. Aleksanyan and H. Tadevosyan according to points 7 and 10 of part 2 of article 104 of the RA Criminal Code. Arrest was chosen as a restraint against them, and official retrieval was announced. The prejudicial inquiry continues, some steps are made for the provision of the full and comprehensive study of the circumstances of the case.
