Today the RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a Decree on the approval of the order of consideration of the application for special residency status, the terms and the list of documents and on annulling the 23 July 1999 decree NH-351 of the RA President. The decree reads:
“Based on Article 18, Part 4 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Foreigners I decide:
1. Approve
1) The procedure, terms for consideration of an application for obtaining special residence status in the Republic of Armenia in compliance with Annex 1
2) The list of documents to be submitted with the application for obtaining special residence status in the Republic of Armenia in compliance with Annex 2.
2. Annul the 23 July 1999 decree NH-351 of the RA President on the procedure, terms for consideration of an application for obtaining special residence status and the list of documents tobe submitted with the application shall be approved by the President of the Republic of Armenia.
3. Reserve the supervision of implementation of the RA President’s decree to the Staff of the RA President.
4. This Decree shall enter into force on the tenth day following the date of publication.
