49 mln 300.000 AMD (approximately $103.000) has been spent from the state budget to send the Governmental delegations to Moscow, El Kuwait and Sharm el Sheikh.
The Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has left for Moscow to take part in the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. Only the air service of this two-day visit cost 25.8mln AMD (approximately $54.000).
On 3 February the government staff signed a contract with the “Air Training Centre” CJSC for providing the special air services, for flights in directions Yerevan-Moscow on 5 February, and Moscow-Yerevan on 7 February. According to the contract the duration of the flight by the A319 airplane has been 4 hours 50 minutes.
According to the 43-A decision of the Prime Minister made on 27th January, the delegation consisted of 23 persons. Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan, Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan were among them.
As for the Government delegation send to Arabic countries on 11-14 March, less expenditure were made. But again a considerable sum in the amount of 23.5 mln AMD (approximately $ 49.000. According to the signed contract the flights in directions Yerevan-El Kuwait, El Kuwait- Sharm El Sheikh, and Sharm El Sheikh-Yerevan on March 11th, 12th and 14th respectively, in total duration of 8 hours 10 minutes, were also realized by the “Air Training Centre” CJSC by A 319 airplane.
According to the 161-A and 162-A decision of the Prime Minister adopted on 6 March, Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and also 16 other persons formed the Government delegation to the Arabic countries.
Notably, except the operator and photographer, a person from the Armenian representation of the Russian “TASS” News Agency was included as well.
