The Head of the State Register Agency Department of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia reported to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia about the fact that the official head of the same agency having obviously exceeded his powers so as to clarify the working relations, groundlessly insulted him in the hall of the agency, after which he deliberately struck various parts of his body with his legs and hands by inflicting bodily injuries.
A criminal case has been launched based on the report filed by the Head of the State Register Agency Department of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with Part 2 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
On basis of the decision of the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia and in view of the need to ensure comprehensive, complete and objective examination conditioned by factual circumstances, the criminal case was sent to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia which instituted proceeding against it.
A preliminary Investigation is underway.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
