Shirak marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee continues the proceeding of preliminary investigation of the case initiated on the fact of the armed incident that took place on 7 March in Gyumri. RA Investigative Committee informs Iravaban.netconsidering public interest we inform that in combination of obtained evidences an indictment is filled to H. Tonoyan, H. Gevorgyan and D. Hakobyan arrested earlier on suspicion of violent hooliganism act performed against a group of persons. Arrest was chosen as a restraint. Preliminary investigation on the criminal case is in process․ Investigating and operative-searching activities are implemented in order to ensure thorough research of circumstances, find out identities of all the participants and the activities of each of them.
The appropriate police units are ordered to initiate all the necessary activities in order to find P. Arakelyan, Ashot and Garnik Grigoryans wanted for the criminal case.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
