On March 10, the delegation led by the RA NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov being on an official visit in the Czech Republic had a meeting with Zdeněk Škromach, the Vice President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament.
Both sides highlighted the necessity of mutual visits, as well as the cooperation between the National Assembly and the Senate for the further strengthening and development of the Armenian-Czech, particularly inter-parliamentary relations.
The NA Vice President has reaffirmed that Armenia is resolute to jointly extend with the European counterparts the process of institutional reforms aimed at continuously strengthening democracy, human rights and rule of law.
Talking about the settlement of the NK problem Eduard Sharmazanov has underlined that Armenia is for exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict. Zdeněk Škromach in his turn has noted that he is for exclusively peaceful settlement of conflicts.
At the end of the meeting Eduard Sharmazanov invited the Vice President of the Senate to Yerevan to take part in the commemoration ceremonies of the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
