As a result of Armenia’s joining the EEC, new procedures operate in the International Road Transportation Customs House of the RA Ministry of Finance. The changes significantly simplified the import and export procedures, “Within the membership of the EEC no payments are made for imports during customs clearance. That is the business units have been exempted from payments of duties, taxes, customs warehouse and storage fees,” Hayk Stepanyan, Head of International Road Transportation Customs House said.
