The General Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee instituted a criminal proceeding on the fact of killing of the soldier Arsen Karapetyan by the enemy on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanaticism, the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee informs.
On 2 March, 2015, at around 20:50, soldier of one of the posts of N military unit Arsen Karapetyan was deadly wounded by the intentional shot of the enemy on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanaticism. The soldier died in place.
Criminal case on the incident under the requirement of Article 104, Part 2, Point 13 of the RA Criminal Code was initiated.
