The RA Investigative Committee continues the preliminary investigation of the case of the 12 January murder of Avetisyans’ family in Gyumri. The committee undertakes the necessary investigative activities to ensure the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case. All hypothesis are checked, the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee informs.
In response to media inquiries, it is informed that on 18 February, 2015, the General Department on Especially Important cases of the RA Investigative Committee organized a meeting with the successors of the victims and their representatives. During the meeting the deputy head of the RA Investigative Committee and the investigators of the investigation department provided clarifications to the issues of concern of the successors of the victims and their representatives. They also provided information that was not considered secret in the framework of investigation, as well as presented some materials and opinions of the criminal case.
The RA Investigative Committee informs that such meetings will be held on regular basis.
